Baseline-MOCON, Inc. presents the Model 9000,

the Model 8800 A, and the Model 8800 NMHC Continuous Analyzer

9000 Total Hydrocarbon Analyzer-
"The Model 9000 is based on a FlowGuard controlled flame ionization detector (FID) and has an incredible range from less than 10 ppb on the high sensitivity version to 100% on the percent level version. The analyzer has a generous complement of analog, digital, and logic output capabilities. It can be configured with internal components for a single or multipoint analysis of non-condensing gas samples."

8800 A Total Hydrocarbon Analyzer-

“The analyzer is based on an electronically flow controlled flame ionization detector (FID) that delivers a small portion of the sample gas to the detector flame. During the combustion process, organic or hydrocarbon-based gases in the sample are ionized to point where they can be detected by the instrument and reported as a concentration. The Model 8800 A can be configured with internal components for a single or multipoint analysis of non-condensing gas samples.”

8800 NMHC NonMethane Hydrocarbon Analyzer-

“The analyzer is based on an electronically flow controlled flame ionization detector (FID) and an oxidation catalyst that is switched in and out of a portion of the sample stream.  Total hydrocarbons are measured first, and then the oxidizer switches in.  The catalyst oxidizes all hydrocarbons except methane, for a methane measurement.  The methane value is then automatically subtracted from the total hydrocarbon concentration to determine the nonmethane hydrocarbon reading.”  The Model 8800 NMHC can be configured with internal components for a single or multipoint analysis of non-condensing gas samples.”
